Vassiliy Kolganov is the founder of Your Private Advocate and an attorney admitted to practice in Bulgaria since 2002. With extensive professional experience in Bulgaria and the United States, he assists individuals, families and businesses with Bulgarian legal matters, immigration and citizenship cases, real estate transactions and cross-border legal coordination. He provides clients living abroad with a trusted and accessible connection to Bulgarian institutions, notaries and other independent professionals.

After earning his law degree in Varna and completing his judicial internship, Vassiliy Kolganov was admitted to the Varna Bar. His professional background includes legal work with the Court, human rights organizations and complex civil and real estate matters. Since 2010, he has also worked closely with experienced U.S. legal professionals, coordinating matters involving clients, documents and institutions in both Bulgaria and the United States.

His role in cross-border matters is to advise on Bulgarian law, organize the Bulgarian portion of the case and facilitate communication with independently licensed U.S. attorneys when U.S. legal advice or representation is required. He does not provide legal advice on U.S. law and is not admitted to practice law in the United States.
